Home Guard Shoulder tabs

Where do you sew the HG patches onto the battledress i think arent they something like half an inch down? whats the exact measurement?

I have a picture somewhere of an original blouse with measurements, some Battalions made there own versions of mesurements and permutations [i.e. numbers atop of text] but the meaurements i work to is a half inch down from eplet is H.G. title, three quarter inch down from 'highest part of title' is text WR, then touching is number 48, both folded to the dots which come printed with them.
