Having watching this DVD on the aux ive seen alot of them wearing berets could I get away with wearing a beret instead of a forage cap and if yes which one? I'd use the forage for normal HG

    Hi YJ
This is my view and the way our Brockadale patrol works at the mo and by no means difinitive to what actually happened but, when 'scallywaging' we would wear denims with beret, balaclava, comforter or some cap? with minimum kit, pistol, knife a sten, explosives. By 1943 when the GHQ reserve batalions were formed and things were more 'relaxed' with patrols taking part in exsercises and parades with the H.G. etc. We wear battledress with side cap [or beret] worn along with sidearm and insignia.
