Matt and NT asking for numbers to Coleshill, i was going to cancel as lost interest in long travel to events after Parham but if theres a decent team interested i will possibly be pursuaded to go? It a long way and would be Friday to Monday.

Oxfordshire is a bit more than 2 hours 175 miles about 3 an half hours, to get there Sat am then home Sun eve after an event this far is too much.

okay, Not heard from Matt but on ww2 forum he is asking for reenacters to man gate etc. so think its still on. Paul is not available, Carl also iffy, think Chris and Heather were interested, so here are some options, I can take 3 + me with personal kit but not the camp/display, someone else will have to take it. Or I can take 1 very maybe 2 others and kit and camp/dislay if passangers travel light [ no large camp bed, duvue' etc]. We travel down Friday after work could be busy but no rush still time to set up, perform AU target practice Saturday and Sunday,[pistol, sten, 36m, 4oz charge] coming back Sunday night. [not ideal for me but even i may not manage 3 nights under canvas in my condition]. Or we travel down Saturday, come back Sunday. its a 2 day event this year but we can only do what we can do, problem is setting up in middle of day may not be allowed, performing just today. I am not going by myself to this one would rather just cancel it, but need a good presence from AUrs.

Right, confirmed Coleshill are feeding us the Saturday evening, [great little get together that] pub later. We can get in on the Friday evening late so will travel Friday evening. Arrive around 11 and put the tent up by headlight, i know the ground so should'nt be a problem. Will do target practice both day's. Big shame that Glamorgan and Pitsford Home Guard are not there, was a chance to catch up, and a shame CART is not there? but will see Tony from Parham [member BROM_Parham]and Gerry Ferret, got a role for them both, still i'm sure our contribution will be most appreciated. Carl and Ian i wonder if you want some ale bringing back?
